ROMAN PURPLE GLASS BOWL. Ca. 100 BC - AD 100. A purple glass bowl with a rounded body that tapers gently towards a slightly raised, circular foot. The upper section flares gently outward, leading to a wide, everted rim with a smooth, rounded edge. The surface is decorated with swirling white marbling that extends across the body and foot. Size: 60mm x 95mm; Weight: 110g Provenance: Ex. Russkin collection, formed in the 1980s.
