A red garnet intaglio engraved with the left-facing bust of a bearded man with a bald crown and draped shoulders, set in a recessed oval cell framed by a broad raised border. The bezel plate merges into lobed shoulders, the hoop flat on the interior, rounded outside, and tapering smoothly towards the narrow back.
