ROMAN SILVER EAGLE-SHAPED PENDANT.
Ca. AD 1 - 300.
A silver pendant in the form of an eagle standing on a rectangular base. The head is rounded with a curved beak and shallowly incised eyes. The wings extend down the sides of the body. The chest is subtly contoured with faint linear markings. A large circular suspension loop is attached at the back and the tail extends downward, merging into the base.
