ROMAN SILVER FIGURE OF LIBER PATER.

A silver figurine of Liber Pater standing on an integral rectangular plinth, the bearded god with thick curling hair, draped in a long himation falling in diagonal folds across the body, the right arm extended holding a shallow offering dish and the left drawn to the chest with a bunch gathered in the crook of the arm.
Size: 43mm x 26mm; Weight: 30.62g.
Provenance: Private London collection; previously acquired in Brussels, Belgium; initially from a Swiss private collection (1901–1981).
