ROMAN TERRACOTTA OIL LAMP WITH EROTIC SCENE Ca. AD 150 - 300. A mould made terracotta lamp of Loeschcke type VIII with rounded nozzle and grooved handle. The discus is framed by concentric bands and features an erotic scene in relief, with the filling hole placed in the lower section. The flat base bears the impressed name of the maker.
