ROMANO-CELTIC BRONZE GALLOPING HORSE
Ca. AD 100 - 200.
A solid-cast bronze figurine of a galloping horse, shown with raised foreleg and arched neck. The mane is rendered with incised lines, and the tail extends downwards. The body is decorated with fine incised lines suggesting the texture of the coat.
