ROMANO-EGYPTIAN BRONZE ITHYPHALLIC DWARF FIGURE Alexandria, Ca. 200 BC – AD 300. A bronze figure of an ithyphallic dwarf shown in dynamic pose with bent legs, the right arm extended laterally and the left raised to support an ovoid object. His oversized head is surmounted by a prominent projection, and the facial features are faintly incised. The body is compact and disproportionate, with a projecting phallus aligned vertically between the legs.
