ROMANO-EGYPTIAN MOSAIC GLASS BEADS. Ca. 100 BC - AD 100 . A string of 23 mosaic glass beads in varying sizes and shapes, predominantly spherical and slightly oblate. The surfaces display a dense arrangement of multicoloured checkerboard patterns. The palette includes red, yellow, white, green, and black.
