ROMANO-EGYPTIAN TERRACOTTA GRAPE-SHAPED FLASK WITH THE BUST OF HARPOCRATES Ca. AD 200 - 300. A terracotta flask shaped like a bunch of grapes featuring a bust of Harpocrates-Eros adorned with a headdress. The bust is flanked by two small, open wings. Traces of white plaster suggest that the statuette was painted, as was typical for this period. Size: 175mm x 90mm; Weight: 230g. Provenance: Private UK collection; Ex. M.
