ROMANO-NABATEAN POTTERY FLAGON WITH HANDLE Ca. 100 BC - AD 100. A pitcher formed of rich, reddish-brown terracotta, featuring a rounded body that widens at the shoulder before tapering upward to a narrower neck. The surface of the pitcher displays visible horizontal lines that run parallel across the body. A prominent handle extends gracefully from the shoulder, attaching to the neck, which is slightly constricted and culminates in the rounded mouth. The lower section of the neck is accentuated by a horizontal raised band. Size: 230mm x 115mm; Weight: 440g. Provenance: Christie’s, London, 20 April 1999.
