2 parts in one vol. in-4° of [4]-4 ff.(chiff. 1 à 4)-5 to 172 p.-[4] and 315 (badly chiffr)-[8] pages, terra-cotta morocco, boards decorated in cold with spandrels and a large central Renaissance motif, wide gilt lace, gilt edges (Bruyère).
Lyon edition decorated with numerous medals by Corneille and woodcuts by Georges Reverdy. Printed by P. Roussin, whose fleurons and typographical bands are often repeated. This edition was refreshed in 1581 by the application of boards bearing the new date; these are found in this copy.
Very fine binding by Bruyère, a 19th century bookbinder from Lyon (Baudrier IX, 386).
