and veiled, facing right. No inscription
Reverse: APSINOHS FI?A?E?FOY, double
horn of plenty, bunches of grapes
hanging from the sides, tied with a fillet.
Also known as Arsinoe, Berenice II was
wife of Ptolemy III Euergetes, the Generous
(246-222 BC) and Queen of Egypt between 246
and 222 B.C. She was an authority figure,
she was minted posthumously on coins
posthumously during the reigns of Ptolemy III
and Ptolemy IV.
