First edition of this excellent agronomic dictionary, illustrated with numerous copper-engraved plates by Sellier, Tardieu and Moisy, a map, fold-out tables and a portrait of the author by Hulk. A copy bearing the arms of a contemporary, stamped on the spine of the eight volumes published before the Revolution. The tenth volume was published after Abbé Rozier's death; written by Chaptal, Parmentier, Biot, Thouin, Lasteyrie, etc., it is almost entirely devoted to vines and wine. This volume is in a second printing and its binding is not uniform. Some foxing, rubbing and minor wear. Two volumes by the same author are included: Cours complet d'agriculture...
