Schug mentions the homage to Hokusai in the quotation from his "Woge" and the influence of Boutet de Monvel. The influence of Russian folk art and Renaissance woodcut motifs are also recognisable. - Cover slightly rubbed and minimally stained, corners and edges minimally bumped, headcut of leaf 6 (pp. 11/12) with small tear, this is enclosed, staples rusty. - Includes: A.
