Decorative or ceremonial clog
Made of stained, carved and engraved wood. Originally carved from a single block of wood. The upper is decorated with an engraved fleur-de-lis set against a diamond-patterned latticework. The instep is adorned with festoons. The toe of the clog is adorned at the base with two large scrolls and extends into a full-relief figure of a miller, wearing a cap and a kerchief tied around his neck.
