Model XIII cavalry sabre. Leather-covered handle with brass filigree. Brass mounting, four-point guard, three of which are bolted. Cut-out pommel stamped "C" and "A". Plate stamped "VERSAILLES". Straight blade with point in the prolongation of the back, signed "Mfture Impale du Klingenthal Coulaux Frères" and punches of Marion and Bick. Sheet metal scabbard with two bracelets, one stamped "237". Dard in lyre with trace of punch. Total length: 116 cm. Fairly good condition. With bleached buffalo strap. Provenance: Collection of Mr F.
