Austrian light cavalry troop sabre. Leather-covered handle with two olives. Brass mounting. Three-pronged hilt with two AN XI type shuttle ears. Flat-backed curved blade signed "POLLEN Jenn", with counter-edge and hollow sides, engraved with the double-headed eagle. Iron plate scabbard with two iron bracelets and two iron rings. E.M. First Empire period. Composite scabbard, interesting weapon with many traces and wear of service. Could be a prise sabre.
