Jointed arch forming the plate, from which a branch forming the openwork shell with the monogram "GNP" probably for the "Garde Nationale de Paris". Rocket in wood with double brass filigree. Blade by Gouland fourbisseur in Paris, right with hollow sides and gutter engraved "CAVALERIE NATIONALE" under the arms of of France (oxidation). No scabbard. France, constitutional monarchy period.
