SABRE OF THE HUNDRED GUARDS Gilt brass and horn mounting. Cap with laurel wreath. Jointed arch with three branches branches join a medallion with the imperial coat of arms. Tail with palmette. Spindle in filigree filigree. Straight blade, T-shaped back and full-length gutter signed on the back "Coulaux & Cie Klingentha". Scabbard with two iron bracelets and suspension rings. France, Second Empire period. Total length: 116 cm PROVENANCE : - Roger de Montégudet collection (1880-1925) - by descent to this day.
