Infantry sabre for the National Guard. Unmarked 28-groove bronze mounting, single-branch hilt, and AN IX-type quillon. Flat-backed blade with engraving remains from the Manufacture impériale du Klingenthal (1815), hallmarked (pitting). Leather scabbard stamped "PDL" with two leather trimmings. Fairly good condition. July Monarchy period, mounted with an Empire blade. Provenance: Collection of Monsieur F. EXPERT: Arnaud DE GOUVION SAINT-CYR.
