National Guard officer's sabre. Leather-covered handle with filigree. Brass mounting, pommel with empanached helmet, hilt with one branch and line-decorated diamond-shaped auricles. Straight quillon. Blade with arched back and hollow sides, engraved on one third "Garde national" and "Je protège la Patrie". Composite leather-covered wooden scabbard with three cut brass fittings. Iron sting.
