Blade made by the Royal Manufactory of Klingenthal, Coulaux frères curved with hollow sides and counter-edge. Engraved, gilded and blued one third of the way through with the words "GENDARMERIE ROYALE" under the crown. Iron scabbard with two bracelets and brass suspension rings. France, Restoration period.
