Infantry officer's sabre. Squared varnished wood handle (chip). Gilt brass mounting, single-branch hilt, mounts decorated with trophies of arms and palmette curved quillon. Curved blade with flat back and hollow sides, engraved, gilded and one-third blued (wear). Varnished leather scabbard (broken), with two gilded brass fittings decorated with trophies of arms and artillery. Iron sting. Length: 92 cm. Fairly good condition. First Empire period.
