Officer type sabre. Obliquely grooved wooden handle. Brass mounting, gilded and chased on an amatized background. Hilt with one arm decorated with a bearded head, lion and trophies of arms, with two half-oreillons with palmette on the face. Curved blade engraved, gilded and one-third blued. Blued iron scabbard with three brass fittings. N.B.: This fully reassembled sword bears a false hallmark of "Boutet" on the back of the limb and a false attribution on the chape "Journée de Saint Cloud 1er brumaire An 8", "Manufacture à Versailles Boutet DIRt Artiste". As is. Composite manufacture of the XXth century, without guarantee.
