German backpack made from thick Feldgrau canvas with a brown cowhair panel. Leather shoulder straps are present. Some areas of the hair covering are missing. The bag bears a regimental marking A/JR/03 I 1936, along with a nameplate in Erik's name. A clip on the back is missing. There is some wear and a marked patina on the item. Condition II+. Jager regiments were light infantry units specialised in operations in difficult terrain, such as forests or mountainous areas.
