Long letter to the poet Francis Jammes in which Sachs expresses his impatience to read Le Pèlerin de Lourdes and discusses some current affairs. "In these times when money is very scarce, Gaston Gallimard would find it hard to bear the feeling that the large advance he has made for Le Pèlerin does not correspond to an absolutely unpublished work". - Typed letter signed by Pierre Drieu la Rochelle to Sachs about his publications in the NRF during the Occupation. "I suppose that you are writing to me with the malicious intention of making me say that your signature cannot appear in the Nouvelle Revue Française, given the regulations in force.
