Saxon lidded goblet with shepherdess and motto Colourless glass, cut. Bell-shaped, rising foot with everted rim, large, pierced air bubble in the honeycomb-faceted baluster shaft and bulbous base of the dome, bonnet lid with corresponding honeycomb-faceted knob. The dome decorated with a standing shepherdess with a sheep, framed by leaf and flower tendrils, with a humorous motto on the reverse: "Eins zu weiden ist woll vergunt, aber mehr ist ungesundt". H. 25.5 cm.
