Mpuku" short sword with scabbard used by masked dancers belonging to the "Mungongo" warrior society responsible for integrating young men into the Salampasu community. The wooden handle has a beautiful patina and the scabbard is covered in fabric and basketry.
Circa 1930.
Length 59.5 cm.
