We find this character cited as a witness
witness in an act of the chapter of Saint-Servais
of Maastricht dated 19 December 1306. He
seems to have been an alderman of Heer-et-Keer, a town
which formed part of the banns of Saint-Servais
of Maastricht. This aldermanic family owned
a house in the Groote Staat
in Maastricht, which became an alderman's seat in the 14th
century.
