The circle-shaped copper alloy die
circle, conical socket with cut sides
by a three-lobed gothic hoop. The field

This die belonged to an unidentified
member of the Roulers family,
a family originating from the town in present-day Belgium
whose Flemish equivalent
Roeselare provides a better understanding of the link
with the roses in the coat of arms. The arms
(argent, three cinquefoils sable) appear in the
