Game box with chess and backgammon board (inside) in walnut, inlaid in maple and fruitwood and carved with leaf frieze. Wooden figures turned and finely carved in lime and walnut. Naturalistic figures on a round plinth. The king with beard and sword, the tower as a cathedral, the peasants with various headdresses. H king 8 cm, peasant 6 cm. Few signs of use.
