First French translation by Auguste de Lubin. It contains "the description, origin, customs, way of life of its inhabitants, their religion, their magic and the rare things of the Païs, with several very curious additions and augmentations which up to now have not been printed". The illustrations include an engraved frontispiece, a folded map, 21 off-text plates and 7 engraved figures in the text. Armorial bookplate. Rebound copy in an antique vellum-covered binding, a few foxing and stains.
