"Rich Yellow Dragon" writing utensil with Chinese group, 4 pieces; Tripod tray standing on volute feet with integrated pen tray, rocaille decoration in relief and central group of figures. A Chinese man sitting on a cushion with an open book. A female servant standing behind him, holding a protective parasol made of brass and porcelain. Flanking the group are two Chinese children in kimonos as inkwells and sandpots. The robes painted in polychrome with various flowers, the tray with "Rich Yellow Dragon" decoration. Gold staffage. Probably designed by Friedrich Elias Meyer, reworked by Johann Joachim Kaendler and Peter Reinicke. Partially restored; minor wear; crossed swords mark. Writing utensil 35 cm x 26 cm.
