In-4 (30.5 × 22.5 cm), ivy-green half-maroquin with corners, smooth spine decorated with gilt and mosaic motifs, gilt head, illustrated cover preserved, untrimmed (Champs-Stroobants). Edition decorated with 33 watercolour stencil compositions by Carlos Schwabe, including one for the cover. Deluxe edition limited to 170 copies, this being one of 13 copies reprinted on wove paper made by Papeteries de Rives (No. XVIII) with a suite of fumés on thin Japan paper printed by the engraver and mounted on wove paper (No. XVIII). This copy was included in the exhibition "Neue Kunst in der Schweiz zu Beginn unseres Jahrhunderts" at the Kunsthaus Zürich in 1967 (no. 231). Bibliography: Carteret, Illustrés, IV, p. 276.
