SCULPTURE In grey-beige sandstone, representing the four-armed god Vishnu Caturbhuja, wearing an orphevered diadem decorated with stylised geometric motifs encircling a truncated cone-shaped bun, dressed in a pleated sampot held by a belt and tightened by a knot at the waist, with a pocketed drape over the left thigh. Khmer art, Baphuon style, 11th century (Face damaged; missing two of the arms, two hands and the lower part of the legs) Height: 55 cm Listed in the inventory of 13 December 1933 in Saigon, p. 4, Cassette A, 2nd line.
