SCULPTURE In grey-beige sandstone, representing the four-armed god Vishnu Caturbhuja, wearing an ornate diadem decorated with stylised geometric motifs, tied at the back of the head, adorned with a necklace and bracelets at the top of the arms and at the ankles, his pleated sampot with a wide front flap from which a double anchor-shaped drop emerges. Khmer art, Angkor Wat style, 12th century (Missing arms, legs and bun) H. 63 cm Accompanied by a "Certificat de non classement", no. 163, from the École Française d'Extrême-Orient, pour la Conservation et Protection des Monuments Historiques, issued by Henri Mauger, representing the Director of the EFEO, dated 15 September 1938.
