Jacques BIRCKLE (1734-1803), received the title of Master on 30 July 1764. Supplier to the Garde-Meuble under Louis XVI, he produced many mahogany pieces for the Enfants de France. In 1787 he delivered several chests of drawers for the Queen's flats in Saint Cloud.
