Sehr große Figur des Monju Bosatsu. Edo-Zeit, 18./frühes 19. Jh. 5-tlg. Die Figur im Meditationssitz auf einem sehr großen Lotos über einer offenen Blüte und einem Kissen, das von einem liegenden shishi auf Felsensockel getragen wird, über einem kastenförmigen Sockel. Monju Bosatsu hält in der rechten Hand ein Schwert, die Perle in der linken Hand fehlt. Auf dem Kopf eine aufwändige Krone aus Metall mit Glasperlen. Hinter der Figur eingesteckt eine Mandorla mit durchbrochen geschnitztem Rankenwerk und sieben applizierten kleinen Amida Butsu im Meditationssitz. Holz, über Schwarzlack vergoldet, der Felssockel bemalt, die Augen aus Glas mit hintermalten Pupillen.
