SELJUK HIGH KARAT GOLD RING SET WITH RECTANGULAR GLASS BEZEL Ca. AD 1000 - 1200. A substantial gold ring with a tall rectangular setting housing a flat glass insert. Granulated beading borders the upper edge, while symmetrical scrollwork and pellets embellish the sides. The hoop flares gently at the junctions and tapers towards the back, with decorative elements continuing along the exterior.
