SELJUK HIGH KARAT GOLD RING WITH LARGE PINK CABOCHON Ca. AD 1000 - 1200. A gold ring with a flat-section hoop flaring at the shoulders, decorated with incised vegetal scrolls and geometric motifs, some panels filled with niello. The tall, conical bezel is similarly ornamented and surmounted by a large pink cabochon secured by four flat-topped prongs.
