SELJUK SILVER BRACELET WITH FLORAL MOTIFS. Ca. AD 1000 - 1200. A silver cuff bracelet of open type with tall, slightly flared sides and a sharp carinated medial ridge, formed from a single curved plate. The central zone of the exterior is plain, while the margins are set with medallions enclosing six-pointed rosettes amid scrolling arabesques on a stippled ground. Size: 60mm x 55mm; Weight: 127.6g Provenance: Private collection of a West London gentleman; previously in a collection formed on the UK/International art market in the 1980s.
