Wanli period (1572-1620) Decorated with alternating panels of flowers and auspicious symbols between knotted tassels, the interior with a Persian inscription (perhaps part of a poem by Firdausi) along the rim above flower sprigs, the central medallion with a basket of pomegranates in front of a fence.
