Rare early Frankfurt plate with flowers and insects faience. Round shape with recessed centre, wide, horizontal rim and slightly profiled edge. Cobalt-blue hot-fire decoration, in the centre a flower vase still life, on the rim four larger floral motifs, in between scattered insects. Christie's label with dat. 5.12.(19)94 and no. 369.
