Rare Art Nouveau bowl with enamelled floral decoration from the "Zackenform" dinner service
Triple jointed, recessed cabaret. Curved shape, raised, open-worked handle in the centre. Fine Art Nouveau decoration of fine, jagged relief gold lines with delicate, rose to purple-coloured, raised enamel flowers. Designed by Max Schröder, model book entry June 1901, decor painter's no. for Carl Hübener (1890 - 1912). Year mark. Sceptre and painter's mark. H. 7.5 cm. D. 30 cm.
The sculptor and porcelain painter Max Schröder (1871 - 1935) joined KPM Berlin as a permanent employee in 1885.
