The court jester Joseph Fröhlich in Tyrolean costume with pointed hat and top boots as well as two owls, sitting on his hat and arm, Gottfried Schmiedel in the uniform of a postmaster, holding a radish in his right hand and offering the mouse caught in the mouse trap, standing on an oval plinth decorated with sculptural flowers and leaves in front of a tree. Polychrome painting with gold staffage. Designed by Johann Joachim Kaendler. Model no. 290x. Minimally chipped/rest; crossed swords mark. H. 26 cm.
