Rare mythological figurine group of Meleager and Atalante in white porcelain. On a naturalistic rocaille base decorated with flowers and leaves, Meleager standing in front of a tree and on a boar's head, covered by a hip scarf, gazing intimately at and embracing Atalante, who is sitting next to him on a stone block. A putto seated at her feet. Designed by Franz Conrad Linck, c. 1765, remainder; minimally damaged; maker's mark. H. 41 cm.
