Rare "Soufflé" vase with rowanberry decoration by Gallé Baluster shape with offset, conical foot, tapering, cylindrical body, short neck and slightly overhanging lip rim. Cased glass, colourless, amber yellow, olive and salmon red. Etched, partially polished decoration of twigs and ripe rowan and rowan ash (Sorbus aucuparia) fruit in relief, executed in several stages using the "soufflé" technique and incorporated into the model against a matt ground.
