Rare Baroque silver snakeskin cup, fully gilded. Conical body with smooth rim zones of varying widths set off by narrow moulded lines. The wall surrounded by finely worked snakeskin decoration. Marked, tremolier line, inspection mark, master Siegfried Örnster (becomes master 1691), later French guarantee mark (1794-1798). Weight approx. 105 g. H. 8.5 cm. Cf. cat.
