H. 34 cm - 35.5 cm (with spike). During her apprenticeship at the Staatl. Porzellan-Manufaktur Meissen, Silvia Klöde began evening studies at the Dresden Academy of Fine Arts in 1975, later with further direct studies in sculpture, which she successfully completed in 1983 with a diploma in sculpture. From then until 2011, she worked in the "New Artistic Development" department at the Meissen manufactory, where she was involved in wall design, room sculptures, unique pieces, medals and product development, among other things. She has been working as a freelance sculptor since 2012. Her works are represented in collections and at numerous exhibitions and have won awards, such as her design "Arche 2000" for the FIDEM in Weimar in 2000. A Klöde chandelier similar to the style was later combined with Sabine Wachs to create the unique wall decoration "Herbstlicht" (unique piece no. 331/1999).
