Rare sword, so-called one-and-a-half hilt. Pointed, double-edged, broad blade with a rare triple fuller. Indicated linear decorative engraving and indistinct inscriptions. Iron, slender quillons with twisted, bud-shaped pommels. Oak grip. Crowning, correspondingly twisted and gadrooned, baluster-shaped pommel with ball knob. L. 118.5 cm. A rare probably South German iron sword so called one and a half handed sword with wooden handle. Probably South German. Late 16th century.
